I met the Petras family in November 2002, when I moved to the area on military orders. I was happy to know Mike was a fellow Air Force member and Brenda and Joanne were great at rounding out the team. They are a family team, taking care of their extended military family. My husband and I continue our relationship with all of them even today; over a year since they helped us sell our house, before moving to our next duty station in Warner Robins, GA. I bought my very first house from Mike in 2004. Buying a home can be a stressful time, like buying a new car. Mike and his family where great through the whole process and I rather buy a 100 houses then a new car. Their kindness doesnʼt stop either; after you buy your home and sign the paper work, they are always willing to help with any questions. I came down on orders to move again, and I elected to rent my house for a couple of years, but plan to sell when I return and buy a new house and will use Mike again, and would recommend him to anyone whether they are selling or buying. In November of 2002, after a four year tour overseas my wife and I returned to the United States along with our dog Max. I was assigned to NCIS headquarters at the Washington Navy Yard and as first time home buyers in an area we had never visited before we were clueless at best.
Mike and Brenda Petras took the time to introduce us to the area and educate us on the ins and outs of purchasing a home including where and how to obtain competitive financing as a member of the military.
Mike and his entire family worked long and hard to help us find the right home. They continued to be a huge help even after we moved into our home.
